Membership Fees & Subscriptions

Membership Prices - 2025/2026

EXETER UNIVERSITY STUDENT SPECIAL  

From January 2025 until end August 2025 only £175 plus £32  fees  

Membership Fees Subscriptions for the year from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026: 

* 25 Miles+ "as the crow flies".

**Means tested qualification required for CASC (play restricted to Tues/Thurs/Fri/Sun)

***Reduced green fees (£10 for 18 holes, £7 for 9 holes) to be paid each time you play - play restricted to Tues/Thurs/Fri/Sun.

****If aged 13 or over, a £22 affiliation fee is payable

All playing members pay £22 Golf Levy (for county and national levies) which is added to the above prices.

There is an annual Bar Levy of £10-£30 which is added to your Bar Card for purchases in the clubhouse.

There is currently no joining fee at Downes Crediton Golf Club.

Annual playing subscriptions can be paid via monthly standing order for a small admin fee included above.

If joining part way through the subscription year, fees are calculated on a monthly pro-rata basis.

Get Back Into Golf - £699 (£62pm)

Membership includes 3 * 30 min lessons with one of our PGA pros.
To be eligible, you cannot have been a member anywhere for at least 5 years.
GBIG members join on a 12 month basis, rather than the club's membership year.

SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP

Social members are non-playing members who can use the clubhouse and receive

up to 20% membership discount on drinks and 10% on food.

Playing membership gives unrestricted use of all the club's facilities (course & clubhouse) as well as membership discounts on both bar (up to 20%) and food (up to 10%) purchases.

NEW OR RETURNING TO GOLF?

We offer an opportunity to learn the game and progress.

Our PGA Professional is very well respected throughout the West Country and will ensure that your coaching moves along at a pace that suits you. You will develop and improve into a golfer that is ready to tackle the golf course and compete in competitions.

Coaching sessions include work on the golf swing, slowly building to a level fit to go to the course with confidence. Chipping and putting are included as well as learning etiquette and dress code. We explain the basic rules of the game to ensure all are equipped to play the game whilst complying with the rules. Competitions are organised and the course is marked out with a short course for beginners.

For those new to golf, this membership fee includes a package of golf lessons with our professional. For more information speak to the office or pro shop.

All members are eligible to apply for a "˜County Card' free of charge, which gives a reduced green fee (usually 1/2 price) at over 1000 courses around England.

Reciprocal Golf

Reduced green fees are available for all playing members. Please take proof of membership with you on the day.
